Dynaset nv is proud to announce that we have won the bronze medal in the Ecovadis CSR ranking. Dynaset nv is committed to sustainable development on a social, ethical and ecological level. The goal: to define and implement a strategy with an action plan in the areas of environmental awareness, social responsibility and corporate governance. To communicate our efforts and progress to our customers, suppliers and employees and to take a proactive approach to the constant improvement of our CSR policy, we decided to participate in the EcoVadis audit.
After this audit we obtained the honorable bronze medal. “First and foremost, this bronze certification reflects the strong values and corporate culture of our group. This award is also a great confirmation of the measures and initiatives we have taken in recent years in the field of sustainable development. Naturally, we will continue to improve in all these areas, because next year we want to achieve silver certification,” said Filip Brisaert, CEO.
What exactly is the EcoVadis certification?
EcoVadis is a platform for CSR ratings. It helps companies of all sizes and in all sectors of activity to conduct comparative analysis and improve their sustainability performance through a common platform, a universal scorecard and performance improvement tools. The EcoVadis rating assesses the quality of the company’s CSR management system based on 21 sustainability criteria and 4 themes: environment, sustainable procurement, ethics and labor and human rights.
We are proud to be a partner of Tarkett’s ReStart programme, where we collect used flooring and cutting waste and process this material back into raw material.
In addition, we are able to work according to the BREEAM assessment method (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
This is a sustainability quality mark for realizing sustainable buildings with minimal environmental impact.
We use self-generated solar energy within our own carpentry workshop. In addition, the wood waste generated during production is compressed into wood briquettes, which in turn are used to heat the joinery. In this way we minimize our energy consumption and reduce our waste.
We also take responsibility in the field of mobility. We invest in electric vehicles and have charging points available at our locations. In this way we contribute to the transition to sustainable and environmentally friendly transport solutions.
